2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick® mix 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup mashed cooked sweet potato 1/2 cup milk

1. Heat oven to 450°F. Stir all ingredients until soft dough forms. 2. Place dough on surface sprinkled with Bisquick mix; roll in Bisquick mix to coat. Shape into a ball; knead 3 or 4 times. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 2 1/2-inch round cutter dipped in Bisquick mix. Place with edges touching on ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Heat oven to 475°F. Decrease butter to 1/4 cup. Bake about 15 minutes.

1/3 cup butter or margarine (firm) 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick® mix 2/3 cup milk Butter or margarine, melted
| | Instructions |
1. Heat oven to 450ºF. 2. Cut firm butter into 1/4-inch pieces. Toss Bisquick mix and butter pieces with fork until coated. Add milk; stir just until milk is absorbed (do not overstir). 3. Turn dough onto surface dusted with Bisquick mix. Knead 5 times. Pat to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with 3-inch cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet with sides touching for soft sides or 2 inches apart for crispy sides. 4. Bake about 9 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter. Heat oven to 475ºF. Stir 1/4 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour into Bisquick mix. Bake about 11 minutes.

1. Heat oven to 450°F. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart bowl, stir Bisquick mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat 30 seconds. 2. On ungreased cookie sheets, drop dough by 40 to 48 spoonfuls about 2 inches apart. 3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. In small bowl, mix butter and garlic powder; brush on warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheets. Serve warm. Heat oven to 475°F. Bake 9 to 11 minutes.

1. Heat oven to 425°F. In large bowl, mix flour, parsley, 2 tablespoons of the cheese, the sugar, baking powder, salt and basil. Add 3/4 cup of the whipping cream; stir with fork just until dry ingredients are moistened, adding additional whipping cream 1 tablespoon at a time, if necessary, to form a soft dough. 2. On lightly floured work surface, gently roll dough in flour to coat. Knead lightly about 10 times or until dough forms a smooth ball. Pat dough into 1/2-inch-thick square. 3. With knife, cut dough into 12 squares. Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased large cookie sheet. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon cheese. 4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve warm.

Cut and brush tops with additional buttermilk.
Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. |

3 c Flour 3 ts Baking powder 1 ts Coarse salt 1/2 c Kefalotiri cheese, grated 1/3 c Sweet butter or shortening 1 c Milk | Sift dry ingreds. into bowl. Add butter (or shortening) and work butter into flour with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cheese and milk, and work the whole together (dough will be soft). Lightly flour a marble-top table (or bread board) and your rolling pin. Roll out dough about 1/4 to 1/2" thick. Using small biscuit cutter (floured), cut dough into round shapes about 1 1/2" in diameter. Place on lightly greased (or buttered) baking sheet in preheated 375 F. oven for abt. 15 min., or until golden brown. Makes about 36 appetizer size biscuits. |
Hamburger-Bean Casserole

1 pound ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 clove garlic -- crushed 1 tablespoon prepared mustard 1 can pork and beans -- (16 oz.) 1 can tomato sauce -- (8 oz.) 1 drop Biscuits -- See recipe|Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in 10" skillet until beef is brown; drain.
Mix beef mixture, mustard, pork and beans and tomato sauce in ungreased 1 1/2 quart round casserole.
Prepare Drop Biscuits as directed.
Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto beef mixture; sprinkle with cornmeal mixture.
Bake uncovered until biscuits are golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef 2 onions -- chopped 1 teaspoon parsley 4 ounces mushrooms, canned -- drained and chopped 1/2 pint sour cream 1/2 cup milk 1 can vegetable soup 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper biscuit dough -- canned |Brown beef, then add rest of ingredients and heat thoroughly.
Put in casserole dish and top with biscuits: Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown at 350 degree oven.
