1/2 pound cubed cooked roast beef (1 1/3 cups)
4 roma (plum) tomatoes, cut lengthwise in half, then sliced
1/2 cup peppercorn ranch dressing
2 pita breads (6 inches in diameter), cut in half to form pockets
1/4 cup sliced red onion, if desired
Instructions

1. Toss lettuce, beef, tomatoes and dressing.
2. Spoon mixture evenly into pita bread halves. Top with onion. Serve immediately or wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until serving or up to 1 hour.

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 425°F. Spread 1 tablespoon pizza sauce over each bagel half. Sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon of the cheese.
2. Arrange toppings on sandwiches to look like desired critters. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Spicy Cider Syrup
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups apple cider
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup butter or margarine
French Toast Sticks
1/2 cup Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups milk
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
10 slices sandwich bread, cut into thirds
Instructions

1. In 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and the nutmeg. Stir in cider and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat. Stir in butter; keep warm.
2. Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat or electric griddle to 375°F. Grease griddle with cooking spray, vegetable oil or shortening. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)
3. In shallow bowl, beat all French toast stick ingredients except bread with fork until smooth. Dip bread sticks into batter; drain excess batter back into bowl.
4. Place bread sticks on griddle. Cook about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Serve with warm syrup.

1 package (6 ounces) thinly sliced fully cooked lean ham, chopped
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)
Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease square baking dish, 8x8x2 inches.
2. Mix Bisquick, milk, mustard and egg until blended. Pour half of the batter into baking dish. Top with half of the ham and 1/2 cup of the cheese. Top with remaining ham. Pour remaining batter over ham.
3. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and set. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Cut into 9 squares; cut each square diagonally in half.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Sprinkle with cheese to within 1/4 inch of edges of baking dish. Bake 47 to 52 minutes.

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup shortening

1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups ice cream, (any flavor), slightly softened
Miniature baking candies, bits or chips or chopped dry-roasted peanuts, if desired
Instructions

1. Stir together sugars, peanut butter, shortening, butter and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm.
2. Heat oven to 375ºF. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in granulated sugar.
3. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until light brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
4. For each ice-cream sandwich, press 1 rounded tablespoon ice cream between 2 cookies. Roll the edges of the sandwiches in candies. Wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap. Store sandwiches airtight in freezer.

Sweetened Whipped Cream
3/4 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour bottom and side of 8- or 9-inch round cake pan. In large bowl, beat all cake ingredients except cookies with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in cookies. Pour into pan.
2. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center. Cool 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
3. In chilled medium bowl, beat whipped cream ingredients with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. Spread whipped cream over cake. Garnish with additional cookies if desired.


McDonald's Filet-O-Fish Sandwich

2 teas. Sweet relish
2 teas. Minced onion

2 Plain hamburger buns

Fish portions (square)
2 sl American cheese|1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, relish, minced onion,
and salt and set aside. This is your tartar sauce.
2. Lightly grill the faces of the buns.
3. Cook the fish according to the package instructions. You can bake
the fish, but your sandwich will taste much more like the original
if you fry it in oil.
4. Divide the tartar sauce and spread it evenly on each of the top buns.
5. Place a slice of cheese on each of the bottom buns.
6. Place the cooked fish on top of the cheese slice on
each sandwich, and top off the sandwiches with the top buns.

Makes two sandwiches.
