1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
Instructions

1. Heat oven to 325°F.
2. In ungreased 13x9-inch pan, mix cereals, pretzel sticks and cashews. In 1-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat; stir in tarragon, onion powder and pepper sauce. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
3. Bake uncovered about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot. Serve warm or cool. Store in airtight container.

1/2 cup slivered almonds
Instructions

1. Heat oven to 325ºF. Spread 1 tablespoon melted butter in jelly roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch.
2. Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, 1/4 cup butter and the salt in 3-quart saucepan. Heat over medium heat about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until brown sugar is dissolved; remove from heat. Stir in cereal, pecans and almonds until well coated. Spread mixture in pan.
3. Bake uncovered 15 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen mixture with metal spatula. Let stand about 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container.

Instructions

1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Line 24 muffin cups with paper baking cups.
2. In large bowl, beat cake mix, water, peanut butter and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
3. Bake 13 to 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and tops spring back when touched lightly in center. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
4. Reserve 1/4 cup of the frosting. Spread remaining frosting over tops of cupcakes. Sprinkle each cupcake with 1/2 teaspoon each chocolate chips and peanuts; press gently into frosting.

Water, vegetable oil and eggs or egg whites called for on cake mix box
2 containers (1 lb each) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
Yellow and red food color
1 green flat-bottom ice-cream cone
Betty Crocker® Fruit Roll-Ups® chewy fruit snack rolls (any flavor)
Instructions

1. Heat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour 2-quart round casserole or 2 1/2-quart ovenproof bowl. Make 1 box cake mix as directed on box, using water, oil and eggs or egg whites. Pour batter into casserole.
2. Bake devil's food cake 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes, white cake about 1 hour 10 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Remove cake from casserole; place rounded side up on cooling rack. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Make and bake remaining cake mix using same casserole or bowl.
3. With sharp knife, carefully slice piece from top of each cake to make flat surface where cakes will be placed together to form pumpkin shape. (Cake scraps can be saved and added to another recipe such as pudding or trifle if desired.)
4. In medium bowl, place frosting; tint with 9 drops yellow and 6 drops red food color to make orange frosting. On plate, place 1 cake, rounded side down. Spread 2/3 cup of the orange frosting over cake almost to edge. Place second cake, rounded side up, on frosted cake to make round shape. Frost entire cake with remaining orange frosting.
5. Trim ice-cream cone to desired height for stem; place upside down on cake. Cut out eyes, nose, mouth, vines and leaves from fruit snack rolls. Place on frosted cake to form face. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change for Devil's Food cake mix. Follow High Altitude cake mix directions for White cake mix and proceed as directed in recipe.

Instructions

1. Place candy coating in 1-cup microwavable measuring cup. Microwave uncovered on High 30 to 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted.
2. Dip pretzel twists into melted candy coating. Place on waxed paper. Let stand until coating is set.
3. If necessary, rewarm coating. Dip top 2 inches of pretzel rod into melted candy coating; attach pretzel rod to bottom of pretzel twist. Place on waxed paper.
4. To make reindeer, press on chcolate chips for eyes and red candy for nose using melted candy coating. Cut scarf from fruit roll; attach to reindeer using candy coating. Press on green candy for button using candy coating. Place on waxed paper. Let stand until coating is set. Store coated pretzel rods loosely covered at room temperature no longer than 2 weeks.
